The Professional Trespassers Strike Again!

16.7.12 - (Monday Recap) (Cambridge, UK) - The Professional Trespassers Strike Again! (A Doggerel Adventure in Pictures)

On Monday, it rains.
It rained and it rains.
Oh boy, oh boy, does it rain.

So hard it does rain,
that the fields do not drain,
and the Cam starts flooding again.

The skies keep on dropping
with no sign of them stopping
so we go to a museum on Downing.

But oh what can we do?
The museum, it is true,
is as shut as a gate in a zoo!

So we briefly pop in
to the Segwick and then
we're out just as soon as we get in...

Though we think we are witty
but it's really quite shitty
that we're in here with all of the city!

To get reprieve from the rain.

We sneak into Magdalene.
Oh it's great to get out of the rain!

When the rain says it's through,
We know what to do
We go out for a picture or two.

This is Magdalene College library. Pepys Library. It was closed.

"Mens Cuisque is est Quisque" - or "What a Man's Mind is, that is what he is." The quote comes from Cicero's De Republica

Now when it's finally dry
Under that gray English sky
We watch punters  go punting by.

From Magdalene we bail
and to Kettle's Yard we hail
as we set out to look for the grail.

We believe we have found it!
But wouldn't you know it?
It's closed on a Monday, you twit.

And, for my next act, hats of distinction.
